Agreement and Apple license
These terms govern your use of Glimstamp, provided by Kaielian. By using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, stop using it. If you are below the age at which you can enter this agreement in your country, a parent or guardian must review and agree where required.
The license to the app is governed by Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement. These terms describe the app’s service, purchases and content handling and do not replace that license or limit mandatory consumer rights. Apple is not the provider of Glimstamp’s editing or support services.
Features and supported use
Glimstamp lets you write photo captions, organize local albums, add dates and capture details, choose styles, export new photos or videos, print through AirPrint and make photo PDFs. It is designed for iPhone with iOS 17 or later. Features depend on supported media, device resources, granted permissions and available system services.
JPEG, HEIC and ordinary PNG photos are supported for import, with JPEG or HEIC photo output in SDR. RAW and animated images are not supported. Video export creates a new SDR MP4 up to 4K and 60 fps, subject to the source and device limits. Live Photo output depends on device verification and supported resources; a still-photo option is available. The app’s Help & supported formats page explains current limits.
Free features and Glimstamp Pro
Creating albums, writing captions and changing dates are free. With free looks, you can save or print one photo at a time and create PDFs containing up to four photos. Pro unlocks whole-album saving and printing, print-file export, PDFs without a photo-count limit, all looks and glass tints, PNG logo or signature marks, and up to 20 saved styles. Device memory and export safety limits still apply.
Pro is a non-consumable, one-time purchase. It is not a subscription and does not automatically renew. The price and currency shown in Apple’s purchase confirmation apply. No fixed price is promised on this website. Pro provides access to the purchased features while the app and compatible services remain available; it does not promise perpetual operation on all future devices or that every future separately sold product is included.
Payment, restoration and refunds
Apple processes payments. RevenueCat verifies and restores Pro entitlements. Use Settings → Restore purchases with the Apple Account used for the original purchase. Purchase and restoration may require an internet connection and available Apple and RevenueCat services. Verified refunds or revocations can remove Pro access.
For eligible purchases, request a refund through Apple’s refund service. Eligibility is determined by Apple’s process and applicable law. We cannot issue App Store refunds directly, but you can contact hi@kaielian.com for help with a purchase or restoration problem. Deleting the app does not itself request a refund.
Your content and permissions
You retain ownership of your media, captions, signatures, logos and exported creations. We claim no ownership of them. The app processes them as needed to carry out your chosen edits and exports. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions required to edit, reproduce, print or share the content, including images of other people and third-party logos.
Do not use the app to infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, create unlawful content, misrepresent authorship or falsify information for unlawful purposes. Do not interfere with the app or purchase services, evade paid-feature controls or redistribute the app contrary to its license.
Dates, metadata and output quality
Dates and capture details depend on information in your source media, the Photos library, available time-zone offsets and any manual changes you make. Missing or incorrect metadata can produce incomplete or inaccurate stamps. A date or watermark is a presentation element, not proof of when, where or by whom a photo was taken.
Review visible captions, coordinates, cropping, color, resolution and page layout before saving, sharing or printing. Results can vary with the source, display, paper and printer. Export may convert HDR to SDR, flatten transparency or require reduced dimensions. Print previews and resolution warnings cannot guarantee a particular physical result. Paper, ink and third-party service costs are your responsibility.
Storage, originals and backups
The app exports new items and does not intentionally modify your source originals. Keep independent backups of content you need. Albums and captions are stored locally without an app-provided cloud sync service; some album entries reference items in Photos. Deleting originals, removing permissions, clearing app data or deleting the app may make edits or sources unavailable.
Deleting a Glimstamp album does not automatically remove copies already saved to Photos, Files, share destinations or printers. Temporary exports may be cleaned up. They are not intended to be your only copy of an important result.
Privacy and external services
Our privacy policy explains local processing, Photos access, purchase information and optional support messages. You decide what to share or print and which export metadata to retain. Removing location metadata does not remove coordinates or other information already visible in the image.
Apple, RevenueCat, printers and services you choose for saving or sharing have their own terms and policies. Their availability, fees and behavior are outside our control. Glimstamp does not provide a content-hosting service or an account system.
App intellectual property
The app’s software, interface, branding and supplied designs belong to Kaielian or their respective licensors. Your license permits use of the app and its designs to create your own outputs within these terms. It does not transfer ownership of the app or authorize redistribution of its software or design assets as a competing product. Third-party license notices remain applicable.
Availability, warranties and liability
We aim to provide a useful, reliable app, but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every file or device, error-free metadata or a specific printing result. To the extent permitted by law, the app is supplied as available, subject to the warranties and remedies in the applicable Apple license.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from unsupported files, lost local content, sharing decisions, printer output or unavailable external services. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct or other protected consumer remedies.
Updates and ending use
You may stop using the app at any time. Features, supported formats and these terms may change as the app evolves. Material changes will be communicated where required; the effective date identifies this version. Changes do not remove rights already protected by law.
A material violation may result in termination of your license under the applicable Apple license and law. Local content remains your responsibility to manage; we cannot remotely access or erase it.
Applicable law and contact
The applicable Apple license governs licensing and its choice of law. Any mandatory laws and consumer protections of your place of residence remain applicable. These service terms do not require you to waive a legally protected right to bring a claim before a competent court or authority.
